Cartoon Yourself

If you happen to be looking for ways to make yourself a cartoon, or maybe turn a picture of yours into a cartoon, then you came to the right hub! Below, we will outline some of the ways in which you can do this:

When I was still a young boy, my parents would always take me to the malls and there, I would see a lot of artists sitting on chairs and waiting for people who are eager to see themselves as cartoons. These people are called caricature artists. For a very small fee, they will turn into a cartoon caricature any picture of you or if you want, you can just sit there for a while and they will copy your face on the spot. They will then draw a body of your choice. I remember wanting to be a cartoon skateboarder so the caricature artist drew my face on top of a skateboarder's body. It was really awesome! That was how "cartoon yourself" worked back then.

Nowadays, it's a completely different story! If you want to see how you would look like as a cartoon, all you have to do is take a picture of yourself, or if you have a hard copy, you can just scan it to obtain a digital copy on your computer. After which, there a tons of programs which you could use to edit your picture and turn it into a cartoon. The best one would of course be the Adobe Photoshop. With a range of tools, it is certainly one of the best tools which you can use to cartoonize yourself.

One way to do this is by using the built in Filters. On the Filters tab, you can see a lot of different filters which you could mix and match to create your desired cartoon effect. I for one am really fond of using the paintbrush filters because it gives of a result which is really similar to that of the watercolor art. You can try any combination that you want!

Another way to cartoonize a picture of yourself using the photoshop is by using the pen tool. The pen tool is very useful because it can trace any surface that you wish to edit. For instance, you can use the pen tool to trace the outer part of your face and with that, create the outline for your cartoon. Then, you would want to trace the other parts of your face such as the eyes, nose, ears, eyebrows, and even your hair to create the final version of your toon. If you think that doing things the long way with the photoshop is a tiring way to cartoon yourself, then don't worry because there is another alternative. Online, there are actually tons of websites which you could use to cartoon yourself for free!
